| Woo Hoo, awesome rides coming to Shoreshocked thanks to Planet Entertainment. They'll be setting up some of their great attractions including the Big Kahuna, an Olympic Obstacle course, the Tsunami Wave Slide, and the Gladiator Duel Challenge. So you think you're good, eh? |  | | The inflatable Olympic Obstacle course is a great way to test your endurance as you go through the squeeze tubes, biff bash men, climbing wall and down the inflatable slide. How fast are you? Will you win gold, or come dead last? |  | | Try your skills on the Gladiator Duel Challenge game where you will need to knock your opponent off the podium using joust poles into the inflatable pit to win. Yep, we know, you think you'll be the Gladiator Champ. |  | | Tsunami Wave Slide - Hang ten anybody? The slide to ride. Possibly the best themed slide in Australia. Participants climb up the face of the wave and then slide down the awesome undulating wave lane. |  |

8 bands battled it out for a place on the main stage at Shoreshocked. Around 250 people packed out Synergy Youth Centre to support the bands and see who would make it through. The competition was really tight with the judges having to make some tough decisions. At the end of the night the top four bands were selected and the crowd went off! Coming in first place was Upfunk Creek, second place was The Scream, third place Lost Echoes and in fourth place,the band who will open the main stage of
Shoreshocked is Thin Air!! Thanks Spinifex, The Prodigal Sons, Only Castro and Colatia. You guys were awesome and we hope to see you again soon. Thanks to everyone who came along to support the bands and the event itself. We look forward to seeing you at Shoreshocked on 14th April and again at future Synergy band nights. | |

Its with much joy that we can announce this year's headlining band at Shoreshocked.
DALLAS CRANE!!! Their latest album, Factory Girls, rocks big time, they've been nominated for Best Live band at the Jack Awards, are touring in the USA soon, and are known for the energetic live shows that are pure ROCK 'n ROLL!!! Calling young, local bands!!!!
Are you in a band and want to play on the main stage at Shoreshocked in 2007?
You have 2 options!
1) If you are a young (under 20 years) and local Northern Sydney band then you need to apply to play at Preshocked. You must download an information package and fill in the forms.
8 bands will be selected to play at a battle of the bands style Preshocked event on Friday 23rd February 2007 at Synergy Youth Centre in Lane Cove. The top four bands from Preshocked will go onto perform at Shoreshocked.
2) Any other bands who are interested in playing at Shoreshocked should send in a demo and bio. We have a few other spots to fill.
Applications for Preshocked and other demo’s will be accepted until Thursday 25th January.

Successful bands must be available to play at Shoreshocked on Saturday 14th April 2007 at St Leonards Park in North Sydney from noon.
